Biography

Gwen Nyhus Stewart B.S.W., M.G., and H.T., is author of the book The Healing Garden: A Place Of Peace and the booklets Non-toxic Alternatives For Everyday Cleaning And Gardening Chores and Easiest Herbs To Grow Indoors and Outdoors. She owns Gwen’s Healing Garden Website, Nyhus Stewart Publishing, and is the publisher/editor of Gwen’s Healing Garden Newsletter.

Stewart is a Florist, Master Gardener, Horticultural Therapist, and has a Bachelor Of Social Work Degree. She conducts seminars, has taught various classes at the University of Regina and other educational institutions including Saskatchewan Institute of Arts and Sciences Technology and University of Saskatchewan, and is a management consultant in the non-profit sector. Gwen is a free-lance writer for a variety of magazines and garden columns, a garden consultant, and designs sacred space and healing gardens.
